Swim Nappy Questions

No, it's not needed, because Tyoub swim nappy is a One Size Fits
Most (OSFM) nappy style. Tyoub Swim Nappy can be adjusted to fit a baby from 3 months old (with a waist measurement of approximately 31cm) to 3 years old toddler (waist measurement 50cm). In weight that would be from about 3.5kg (7.7lb) baby to 15 kg (33lb) Toddler.

The inner lining gusset is 100% Polyester - silky smooth Suede cloth to wick moisture away from the skin, but also smooth and cool against delicate skin, especially suitable for hot humid climates. Inner waistband and double gusset are fully lined with polymesh which does not become water logged. The multifilament structure keeps the skin feeling comfortable and dry while out of the water.

Put the swim nappy on your baby. Centre the baby on the nappy using the front tag as a guide. The back black elastic line should be at belly button level. Pull the front up between babies’ legs and if the front black elastic is up above the belly button, adjust using the front
snaps. Secure the hook tabs to the front loop panel. Insert finger under
elastic, checking for tightness at the waist and back leg position. If it’s
tight and snug it will not leak.

We recommend that your baby does not sit in a wet nappy for any length of time. Once the swimming lesson is finished, remove the swim nappy. Dry and dress your baby as you normally would. If you’re on the beach, keep checking how fresh and comfortable your baby is. If the swim nappy is soiled, remove immediately and rinse. Washing properly when facilities are available. We suggest always having 2 swim nappies on a beach holiday!

New baby poop is loose passed milk curds, it can be quite slimy and needs direct running water and a light rub to rinse away. Toddlers typically have started more solid foods and therefore their stools tend to be formed well enough to just be plopped into the toilet and flushed away. Again, rinse and rub gently under cold running water. Use an ecological grey water detergent, nappy safe from the supermarket. Do not use soap flakes, vinegar or bleach, no enzyme cleaners or sprays, these chemicals can build up a residue and breakdown the bond of the waterproof polyurethane
laminate outer shell material.

Avoid rough surfaces that might catch the threads and pull.

Yes, but please see our size measurement guide for each style, as sometimes swimsuit dimensions change in production and with kids growth spurts its better to always double check. We use Australian
Standard measurements.
